yay, finally done scouring for new icons! so they're only mostly merlin and tennis, with a bit of generation kill, but what can you do. i have limited interests these days.
still on quite a funk, and i'm busting most of my money on books. might be a better thing to spend on than other trivialities, you might say, but damn they're expensive!
so the icon hunting made my shoulder hurt (and therefore the sidebar and profile gets to be done another day). the muscles there are all bunched up and even if i take muscle relaxants, they go back. physical therapy apparently would 'heal' it, but it's just as fucking expensive, and i think i'd rather have my back massaged for an hour than all those treatment shit. even my physical therapist high school classmate said he doesn't believe in those; all they do is put on a warm compress, massage it a bit, then traction. i can have the two of those done at home, and cheaper.
so that is the primary reason why i can't make graphic stuff lately, even if i want to. and when i do, they suck, so. =\
question: what do you tell (a) possible future employer/s when they ask why you left your previous job? i heard you're not supposed to badmouth your previous employer, but what can you say when you left it because you feel there is no professional growth, nothing new to learn and you're getting bored?
and in line with that, so i will most probably be resigning from my hospital job end of november. because i can't take being there anymore. i'll be taking spanish language classes at the instituto cervantes de manila while waiting for another employer to pop up. what i'm mostly worried about is if my dad would gladly finance for it (he did say he'll support me in whatever i choose to do, but i don't think he'd approve of this plan). also what future employers would say about leaving a job at the hospital to study spanish (i could probably wiggle with this though, and pull the multi-cultural care shit).
another question: what's been happening to you guys? :D
